A three-year-old recites three of my favorite poems

“The Eagle” by Alfred Lord Tennyson (I love this poem more each time I read/hear it.)

“Litany” by Billy Collins (Billy is the greatest living poet.)

“Once Upon A Twice” by Denise Doyan (In the spirit of “The Jabberwocky”. It’s a book. But it’s a poem.)

PS: This family loves words. Isn’t it exciting to think about what this boy might do as he gets older?

  1. Adorable! Loved the non-verbal body language, and great pronunciation! For some reason, I loved his rendition of ‘Litany’: “You are the wine and the crystal goblet…” So cute! Thank you for smile after smile! He sure can memorize long pieces! Wow!
